No matter what happens it does not change our function. A tree does not bemoan its fate when it is forced to stretch its arms in the only direction it can. The tree does not become bitter when this happens. It has a function. That function is its prime directive, and performing its prime directive is the focus even when it must adapt.
There is an exchange that takes place for us to lay aside our spirit bodies, and incarnate into a solid form. We agree to the function we will serve before we come here.
This tree performs its function, as agreed upon, even though it has had to
adapt.
This tree is honored to perform its function while growing a world that is solid.
As are all trees who have met with the unexpected.

This is profound teaching.
